Welcome to my little craft studio where I make all things mousey! I am a very visual person so I needed my space to be not only functional but pretty too. I have managed to create a charming little space that is not only inspirational but practical. Filled with all my art supplies and all the while being surrounded by my Maileg collection.
color
I opted to use soft colors that are used in a lot of the Maileg products as my color palette. Blush pink, mossy green, ivory and shades of gray make this a very peaceful place to create.
lighting
I wanted this space to have several lighting options the main lighting to be soft and give a warm glow in the room but then have task lighting as well for when it's time to get creative.
craft storage
I have an abundance of all kinds of crafting materials and all those items needed to be corralled in a pretty ways that are not distracting when I am working. Yet practical for having everything I need at hand.
work table
This table has seen a lot of love in this family. It started as our dining table when we first were starting our family then as we grew this table became our homeschool table and now it is the perfect place for me to create. It's seen a lot of action but I gave it a refresh with a fresh coat of paint to hide many years of blemishes and bruises.
tech
With a house full of tech savvy guys I am completely set up in this cozy spot to connect to the outside world. I can sit at my desk and chat with you, shop for mousey treasures and design fun and exciting new projects.
the collection
How could I not be inspired in the space when I am literally surrounded by all my little Maileg friends. My collection has been a labor of love and I continue to add to it as I find vintage Maileg treasures and add new items as they are introduced with each new Maileg collection.
