Welcome to cheddar hollow

This thriving little community is basically a mouse-utopia. Each of the members within the community is an asset to the greater good of all who live there. They have a community garden where they all work together to provide food for all who live there. A small dairy farm with free range cows who happily graze on sweet grass and wildflowers to make the most delicious milk and cheese. At the farm they also keep bees to provide honey for everyone. Main street has some sweet little shops and other small businesses to provide everything they need.

Camembert Maus is the towns inventor and in charge of all the eco friendly energy systems they have to power their town. So far they have a small grid of solar cells, a few wind turbines and a very small hydro electric generator in place at the mill. He has his hands full with keeping their growing town powered up.

Fontina Maus has a small, but very successful dress shop from home. Where she creates beautiful clothing for the lady mice of CH. She opted to have a small business from home so she could be there to raise her children and tend to her family.

Edam Fromage is the head nurse at the new Cheddar Hollow Cottage Hospital. She is also very busy acting as the towns' nurse/mousewife and doula helping to deliver the newest little members of the community.

Roquefort Fromage owns a small but very successful food specialty shop in town where he sells everything from gourmet cheeses, freshly baked breads, delicious sweets, and so much more. Appropriately, his shop is called "Fromage".

One of the newest members of Cheddar Hollow is Fondue Friebourg. He will be opening a yoga studio/juice bar in the coming weeks.

Grandpa Gruyere is opening an art gallery where he will showcase his art as well as other handmades from the artistic members of the community. Gruyere studied art in Paris many years ago and loves to paint beautiful landscapes in the style Claude Mouset'.

Queso and Cotija Manchego recently moved to Cheddar Hollow and have opened a domestic services boutique where they provide a variety of household maintenance options. They have been so busy helping the mice in cheddar hollow they might soon need to bring in other mice to help with the demand of caring for these large mice homes.

Mr. Muenster is the towns new school teacher. He teaches the "Mousessori Method" and will be encouraging the young minds of the littlest member of the community. The school is currently being built and will hopefully be taking applications for enrollment in the not so far future.

Feta Kefalonia has just arrived from Greece and has plans to open a flower shop in town in the new town building. She is an expert at making gorgeous floral arrangements, but we are all hoping she will also share some of her secret recipes for delicious Greek treats as well.

Neufchatel is also a newcomer just arrived from Paris as a recent graduate from the famous cooking school Le Cordon Blue. She was top of her class and specializes in Pastry. She has been hired by Roquefort as his new apprentice and will be working side by side with him at "Fromage". I have a feeling her cakes and pastries will become very popular in town.

Miss Velveeta is opening a dance school in town as well! Her new school will be located on the top level of the new town building and she can't wait to get the mice of CH dancing. I must say she is quite the character. Just what you might expect of a dynamic dance instructor.

Dr. Asiago will be joining Edam at the Cheddar Hollow Cottage Hollow. He recently completed his residency at Formaggio University in Milan, Italy. While there he studied general medicine but with a keen interest in Gastroenterology. Cheddar Hollow is thrilled to have him as their new doctor and as a valued member of the community.

Carmody Bellwether is the town interior designer. She specializes is both residential and commercial spaces. Her first assignment in Cheddar Hollow is to help design a warm and comforting hospital. I have also heard whispers that several towns-mice have contacted her for help with their homes and businesses.

Another new addition to CH is the charming new nursing student, Ricotta. She is still in nursing school training to be a nurses aid but doing an internship at the hospital helping both Nurse Edam and Dr. Asiago in any way she can.

As more and more mouse families move to cheddar hollow I am sure we will see many more businesses and services start up to make this growing community a huge success.
