The nursery . . .

At long last the nursery is ready for it's big reveal. Now that Baby Swiss has arrived I am thrilled to be able to share his sweet little nursery with you. As always I went onto Pinterest and came up with my inspiration board and then got to work.

. . . and this is what I came up with. I just love how this room turned out. Soft and sweet and very baby boy with shades of muted blues it's absolutely dreamy.

I created a cozy little corner for Edam to rock Baby Swiss to sleep...yes, this is actually a rock chair. I also crocheted a tiny blue blanket and added a few Maileg touches with the side table as well as the toss pillow and comforter from the crib into the wardrobe. The wardrobe is stuffed with cozy blankets for chilly nights when Swiss may need some extra warmth. I also added a ton of soft flannel diapers and a fun little wonky crocheted basket for holding extra bits and bobs. On the wall is a piece of art I created with a classic quote from Winnie the Pooh. at the foot of his crib I have a tiny toy chest with a few toys scattered on top and you can see his lovely rocking horse.

Here is a peek inside his cozy little crib. All new bedding done is super soft flannel in gingham, polka dots and stripes. On the back wall in more classic Pooh art with a map of the Hundred Acre wood.

on the opposite side of the room is the changing station, a book case, lamp and clothing hamper. Ohh and I forgot to mention the super soft rug I added to the floor and the darling little wooden train. Above the changing table are a few other additions. More Pooh art, tiny bear, Maileg drum and a sailboat pull toy. Not to mention look at all those books...perfect for story time.

I hope you have enjoyed taking a little tour of Baby Swiss's nursery. I just love how this room turned out.

Sadly, this is the last room in this mouse house renovation tour. Not to worry, I have soo many other ideas bubbling and I can't wait to get to work on my next project...although I do have a confession. It's already underway. so keep a close watch to see the big unveiling coming very soon.

Your houses are magical! The attention to detail is incredible! Maybe you should start an interior design firm so people can hire you! I certainly would!
