Getting in the mood for autumn

This Summer has been absolutely brutal with temps that are honestly off the charts. The other day I made the executive decision that I am officially over Summer and the pumpkins are coming out! But here's the thing not only do I decorate my house for the seasons I also decorate my mouse house for the seasons as well. This year I am going for a very soft and soothing color palette with ivory, apricot, light blue and hint of sage... So that's what will be in the mouse house as well. This morning I took a little time out to sit down and crochet up a teeny tiny mouse sized throw to put over the arm of their sofa. That way when the nights start to get chilly and they all want to snuggle they will have a cozy blanket to cuddle up with.

This is such an easy project and requires very little skill. A basic knowledge of crochet, some pretty crochet cotton and a hook is all that's required. Now to make some pretty pillows for my mice and have fun decorating their home for the upcoming cooler days of fall. It will be Pumpkin Spice season before you know it!
