Mouse Clinic Woes..

So, yesterday my new mouse clinic arrived and I couldn't wait to get into the box and get it built. I want to be very honest on this page with my reviews so that I can share my experience and opinions to hopefully give you a bit of a heads up to help you make good choices for yourself in the future. While this cottage is very sweet and pretty easy to build ( it took me about 2 hours ) I will say the quality is not as nice as the other Hearth and Hand pieces that I already own. That being said, it is still quite nice, but you can tell that they are using cheaper materials and taking short cuts.

The house is quite large but in all honesty when using it with Maileg there isn't a lot of good useful space and yes, this house has charming details but if you are like me and want more useable space this is probably not the best option. Remember this is coming from an adult collector who is all about the details.

Once it was done, I was dying to to get in there and start playing. Sadly, I am not totally thrilled with many things with this building. The rooms are quite small overall and the height of the rooms are not optimal for what I had planned to do. Because I am so detail oriented I like to have lots of space to create, and this house, as darling as it is just doesn't give me what I need.

So, as sad as I am about it, I am re thinking my choice and this is probably not going to work the way I had hoped. I am undecided if I am going to keep it or pass it on to someone else and in the interim I will be searching for a better option for my mouse sized clinic.

I am a bit bummed, but it's all part of the process...trial and error and I want to bring you along for all the highs and lows.
