Sunday Afternoon snuggles

Camembert and little Brie are getting in some afternoon snuggles and reading a family favorite...Stuart Little. Fontina just finished a cozy quilt that they can all cuddle under once the temps get cooler. But Cam and Brie couldn't wait to test it out even though it is quite warm outside. Meanwhile, Fontina has just about finished with her Autumn decorating in the living room. perhaps a few more touches as the season approaches but she is very pleased with how warm and cozy the room looks. There will be many hours spent in this room together over the weeks, months and years together. Many memories of their family enjoying time together in this maus haus!

The completed quilt. I created this very simple little quilt using both my sewing machine as well as a lot of hand stitching as I really wanted it to have a vintage feel. I am pretty pleased with the results. I am considering doing a tutorial on this one. Drop me a line and let me know if you are interested.
