The Maus family is sick . ..

The Maus family has been it hard these past few days with sickness. Camembert, Fontina, Brie and Emmantal are all miserable stuck in bed, but they are all far too weak to do much else. Thankfully their dear friends, Edam and Roquefort have been with them round the clock making sure they are all okay and getting the rest and nutrition they need in order to get well again. Edam has been administering fever reducing medications and making sure their fevers are kept at bay. Along with making sure that they are kept comfortable.

This is the first time they have all been sick at the same time and both Camembert and Fontina are even too sick to care for their little girls. So, having Edam and Roquefort there to help has been a lifesaver. Of course Roquefort has been in the kitchen making some of his famous "Feel Better Soup" which is not only delicious but indeed there is something to it. Roquefort swears by adding lots of fresh lemon juice and garlic to homemade chicken soup makes it medicinal. Today he is adding barley to the soup to make it more substantial and hopefully help to get their strength back more quickly.

Edam has been amazing with the girls as well. Not only making sure their fevers are kept down and they are as comfortable as possible but also reading to them and keeping them company. Of course Brie has been requesting every possible book about bunnies that she owns. This little one is obsessed with bunnies.

Sadly, the Maus family is going to have to reschedule Emmie's first birthday party until they are all well again. They have quite the party planned but first they all need to get well.
